Family Trip help

Hello!   The end of this month we plan to take my 9 year old son to the airplane museum in Dayton.  I was hoping someone would have suggestions for things for my 7 year old daughter to do around Dayton or the surrounding areas. Thanks KIM

tell her about amelia earhart and how she flew--get your daughter interested in planes as well-  sorry not more help not from the area down there ...but girls can fly too!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter has been to the Air Force Museum several times and liked it. We have gone as a family when she was about that age. She has gone with school also. BUT if you really don't want to go there you can always SHOP. They also have the IMAX theater there, they have some neat shows on a big screen. It makes you feel like your there. She may like the planes and things as well. I remember going on a fieldtrip there as a kid, it was pretty cool. Stefanie

There are a lots of artsy fartsy things to do IN Dayton, but you need to look at the newspaper to be sure of dates and times. But I have to say as someone who works for the Air Force, they work very hard at the museum to make it interesting for the plane buff and who-could-care-less-about-planes persons alike.  How about the kids enjoy each other's thing?  Or she get a special day at another time?  Or time with a friend?
