Dayton area BPD'ers

Hi! Is there any BPD patients from the Dayton Ohio area? My surgery is 3/18/08 and I would like to meet new people in my area that is going through what my fiancee and are going through.

It's so nice to see all the success stories here! I went to my pre-op testing today and the education class. I was plugging this site heavily to the other girl today and trying to let her mother know there is somewhere she can go also to help her nerves. Thanks for the posts!

I had the BPD/DS with Dr. Teel in Dayton at Miami Valley Hospital about 8 weeks ago.  I'm a couple hours away from Dayton. All went well with my surgery and all is still going well (I'm down 48lbs total since Christmas...my surgery was January 10).  I know ValGroce is our resident BPD/DS patient of Dr. Anderson.  She's wonderful and full of great information.  She should be along soon as she checks the Ohio board frequently.  You might also want to post on the duodenal switch forum as it has lots of great people and wonderful information!
