Big Step Today

Okay I am so excitied right now!!  My hubby decided he too was giving up pop! It will no longer be in our house! My kids rarely are allowed to have it anyway!! He says he will drink water and crystal light!! This is such a relief! I am a sucker for a Mt Dew. I am not a choc or sweets fan, but could drink 7 or 8 pops a day!! Once what is in the house is gone! That is it!!!!  Also he told me he was buying  the family  Y membership. I asked him why. He is going to start working out with me. I am going to meet him after work 2 days next week, and go from there!! My hubsand is a little over weight for his height. But NOT much! He is 5 10 and weighs like 185. He really is only doing this for me! It makes me feel so happy to have his support!  I could not ask for anyone to be any better to me.  I also took another big step over the weeekend. I had decided that I was not sharing this with my family until it was done!! My hubsand and I were to be the only one that knew what I was trying to do. Well I told my dad and step mom. My dad did not agree. He said all he would say is I need to research and know what is best for me. I told him I have. He said that whatever I decide he will be there for me, and the day of surgery.  He said he thought I could lose the weight, I told him I have tired, and done everything. I told him he had no clue what I weighed. He thought he did and made a guess! He guessed 50 lbs lighter them I am. He was amazed when I told him what I weighed. Nothing else was said! I am going to meet with a PCP today! I hope all goes well, I will let you know when I get home later!!
