NE Ohio Lunch - Next Up

So, I'm wondering if there is planning going on for our next lunch.  I love the picture I have from us all being there and would love to see the group added to.  And, selfishly, I'd like to see everyone prior to my surgery.  Anyone got the ball on this? Janice  :-)

Hi everyone.  I'm pre-op and new to the Ohio boards.  After going back through Janice's previous posts, that you all met near Chapel Hill the last time.  If the door is open to people you don't know, I would be interested in finding out when and where you have your next get-together.  It would be nice to connect with other WLS people - you are the only ones who truly understand this journey and all the baggage we've had due to our weight issues.   Anyway, I hope to meet some of you one day.  Thanks for this post, Janice.  And if I don't meet you before hand, I'll be lifting you up in Prayer on your day.  God Speed on your recovery, too!! I haven't been on here at all, all week.  Just busy -busy.  I am game to lunch anytime.  I know I have plans next weekend, but certainly could the following weekend.  Where would you like to meet?  Have you talked to the others?  How can I see the picture?   Hope you're good... and how many more weeks til surgery.  (I amsooo brain dead..LOL)   Judi

LOL, talk about brain dead ..... I am pretty sure the picture is on my profile now.  :-)  I'll check in a minute and add it if it is not. I am asking about the meeting since I thought someone else was going to be asked to put it together?  At least that is what I remember talking about that day.  If they don't want to .. hey janice yes i was suppose to follow up on this and didn't, my bad....just a bit overwhelmed right now, started back to work the monday after we got together and my life hasn't been the same!!!!  so if you want to run with it, PLEASE do!!!!!!!  for me sat or sun work and really anytime is good for me.  the one thing that i do recommend is that you decide the time/date/place and then just run with it, i made the mistake of trying to accomendate everyone and that turned into a  mess (for me) and very impossible to do, and then of course i felt bad about it.  would LOVE to get together before your surgery. robin

I would love to come but I am on the west side out in Lorain county. Maybe I should try for a west side lunch what ya' all think.?????????

Ina, now you are testing my geography!  Haha.  I think we can come up with something.  I don't have any heartburn with driving.  I am certainly away from the center of our group's geography.  Do you mind driving a little bit? I am putting on a lunch at work today (and hoping they close work at the same time, but I don't think that will happen in spite of the chill), so let me get through that and I will be back with some plans of some sort!  :-) Janice

you might actually find ppl interested in your area- there seem to be many more out tehre-in the woodwork- i raised my kids in lorain and two of them still are in the county along with 3 of my grands! where in elyria are you? i was way west side elyria last time i lived out that way-now i am by toledo so i am too far for lunch-sorry! but wanted  to say hi!
