Gallbladder anyone had it out since RNY?

I am having some upper abd tenderness and discomfort just under my ribs, having a lot of gas and belching.  I am about 31/2 months out of surgery.  Have been on clear liquids for 2 days now and not better.  Anyone have similar symptoms and it turned out to be gallbladder?

Michele, I had the same, on upper right under ribs, nausea and voimting of dry heaves and my ultrasound showed gallstones and sludge. This was 5 years after my RNY though. You should call your doctor if you haven't already because it also could be a ulcer of stricture id your stoma is tight. Best to get this checked out. Good luck, gayle

Hey Michele I had similar pains except for they were not in the typical spot for gallbladder so my surgeon really thought I had an ulcer. Turns out I had gallstones. I was 4 months out and had the gallbladder removed. It was a simple proceedure. I stayed in the hospital over-night because my surgery was later than expected. I went back to work two days later. Keep your head up and good luck.
