3yrs and still not quite there
Ok, first let me say that I haven't been on here in ages. 2nd I'm proud to say that for over a year and a half I have MAINTAINED my weight loss of over 100lbs!!! Now, that said, I have a personal goal in mind, and from the consultation I had with my annual check-up last year at Barix, I think that I'm not as far off from my goal as I think, but the problem is is that I'm stuck.
I currently weigh-in at 231lbs and I feel TERRIFIC! My goal is to be under 200lbs though just to feel at my absolute best. I've considered that part of this is leftover skin (which I'm not going to have removed at this time). The other part of it though is me. I've taken on a whole new aspect of eating thanks to folks at work. I'm adding more veges and fruits to my diet, which is great. Some weeks though even while taking in all 64oz of fluid, eating right and exercising, I find myself becoming overly constipated and gaining instead of losing weight. To say the least, I want off my island this year!!! I want to drop within the next 6-7 months a total of 15lbs.
I travel on the road a lot, I'm still trying to continue to lower my cholesterol, watch my blood pressure, and maintain a healthy balanced diet. I've thought about trying Alli to aid in these last 32lbs, but I don't know if it is worth it. I'm throwing all of this out there to find out what others have done or are doing to pick up the pace on losing those last few pounds. I'm open to it all! *ps-exercising is back on my got to get it done list, so that is taken care of
First WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!! Second WAY TO GO ONE Losing 100 pounds and keeping that off. Next you might want to go over to the GRAD board http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/wls_grads/ to help with losing those last few pounds. I know what your talking about. I need to re-lose about 10-15 that I have gained back. Good Luck, Robin

Hi, I have some ideas of different things you can try. One is the protein train that i received from the Black American page on OH. I've lost 9 pounds in 2 wks doing this, some people report more. Then, there is the 5 day pouch, you do liquid for the 1st 2 days. Just tried them and let me know what you think.

Oh, I forgot to add on the subject of research.....Eating breakfast is extremely important. I had to change the way I was doing things. I would normally drink protein shakes until lunch (not much of a breakfast eater). Now, I try to have breakfast not later than two hours after awakening. Research this.
I am healthier than I have ever been. I know that my "tool" is still with me and waiting for me to utlize it. If I have one my "eat everything in sight" days, I can always fall back on my tool. Isn't that beautiful? God is more than good! There is NOTHING that can be likened unto Him!
Well, dat's all folks (waving good-bye)! To Thine Own Self, Be True! Don't be like me, be better than me. Blessings.
