Dr. Nicely/Wood County, Bowling Green and Toledo
Has anyone had a psych eval done by Dr. Nicely in Bowling Green or Toledo? He is the one recommended by Dr. Brian Lane. Every psych in Louisville has refused to even meet with me for an eval, so I'm going to have to spend money I don't have and go up there Sunday the 27th and leave the night of the 28th (so I can see Dr. Nicely the early morning of the 28th before all my appointments.)
What is he like? I am so scared I won't meet their standards!
Hello! Dr. Lane will be doing my surgery in March/April, but Dr. Nicely wasn't in my network, but I met with one of his partners (I'm assuming) his name was Muehleisen. But my psych eval was the same regardless. I talked with him for like 30-45 minutes, then took a 500+ true or false test. it was very easy and not stressful. You should be fine! You have to pay a $100 deposit though!
By the way.. I live in Bowling Green, so if you need to know anything else.. let me know!

Dr. Nicely did my pych eval. He was pleasant and easy to talk to. I had no problem with him and would recommend him. The only problem I had was I did have to 'ride' them about completing the evaluation and sending it in. It normally takes 3 weeks for the eval to be prepared and send in... they took 5 weeks for mine.. and the office woman was sort of rude when I'd call in to check on the status.. (acted as if she was very put out that I was "bothering" her)..
However, in the end all was completed and taken care of.. Again I gave Dr Nicely high stars for ease of meeting with him
Dr. nicely did mine too, he is ok gave me an ok report but my insurance deined me cause I gained 27lbs during my 6 month diet. Kinsey at Dr. lanes office said she never saw them do that before. I have medical mutaul, i think i had last supper sydome. but they said i can put it thought again I am trying harder lost about 20lbs so far. going to the Y everyday. so everyone be careful about gaining weight while trying to get insurance approvel. they said i should get my surgery in april if i cont. to do good.....but dont worry dr. nicely is no problem
Dr. Nicely is well named. My appt. was a day his office girl was absent so only dealt with him and a bunch of questions on some kind of test. I can't say there were any problems all went well and he was quite easy to talk to and be around. That's quite a trip but it is best to have the eval done by someone who is used to bariatric patients. I live close to Bg, but you're not having surgery done there, right? Or are you? I don't think it's a matter of meeting anyones standards, just be yourself, that's the easiest thing.
