hi from fla.anyone had dr.maguire?
I did not have DS but Dr. Maguire was the asst doc for my open RNY in 2003. This was when he was at New Life Surgery before he started the new program at Miami Valley. He really know his stuff. At the time I could have had either doc and I said give me the one with the fastest surgery date and that was Dr. Anderson. Here are some other docs that do the BPD/DS David Schumacher Kettering Bariatrics Donovan Teel Premier Bariatric Associates He's also with Dr. Maguire Rita Anderson http://www.newlifesurgery.org/overview.html TRICARE Requirements:New Life Surgery is a TRICARE provider. Patients are advised to contact TRICARE to confirm that Kettering Medical Center is an approved provider.Psychological evaluation.Letter from New Life Surgery Center. Good Luck, Robin

Hi Bonnie! You can't go wrong with either of Dayton's 3 DS surgeons! I had Dr. Teel assist with Dr. Anderson with my DS back when all three were practicing together and would trust any of the three of them with my life. Have you been to the DS forum yet? Go up to the forums section up above, and select Duodenal Switch -- then the messageboard link to the left and you'll find the whole gang. The Cincy/Dayton area DSers are trying to put together a playdate in the next few weeks. Watch the forum for the announcement of when it will be. I think Feb 2 was being tossed around. We'd love to meet you.
