Counselor Help, Please

Hi, In reading all of these things that are going on with people in thinking about their food relationship and beginning to deal with my food relationship, I am thinking it might be helpful to go to a counselor and begin talking before surgery.  But the one counselor (not psych) that the clinic recommended is not on my insurance list. Have any of you in NE Ohio found a counselor who is good with bariatric issues?  Can you recommend anyone to me, please? Thanks, Janice

I think it is wonderful that you are looking into this. I firmly believe that all post-ops should seek counseling at least for the first year. This is not an easy road to travel. I have someone who is wonderful, but you live kind of far from me. I hope you find someone near you that can help. Take care - Terisa
