ummm.bakersfield calif is a long drive from toledo! i had rny in 2004-almost 4 years ago-  i keep odd hours so will watch to see if you can pull something together -if i can i would love to meet you! there-how was that for non specific????

Hello, I would be interested. I live in Sandusky, but work in Bowling Green.  I work nights, no I am not sure I could do lunch.  But please let me know when/where you plan on having a meeting and I will see if I can attend. ~Dan

I'm from Toledo and had RNY in July and my best friend is in Toledo too.  She had RNY in Jan 07.  Would love to arrange something.  I work 2 jobs and she works plus raises her kids alone.  We can figure out something.   Laura

Hi all, I am fairly new to site and would love to meet more Ohio people.  As you can see I am scheduled next week for RNY.  Just brought my husband home today and he is uncomfortable, does'nt like carnation instant breakfast in chocolate, and is hacking up his meds.  I keep telling him it'll get better day by day.......so, I'd love to get together to meet more people who are going through this.
