Not a recipe but suggestion..........When my husband and I were doing the Adkins diet I would use the flat bread that Wal-Mart sells in the deli and make little pizzas out of that.  It is low in carbs. It gets pretty crispy and it is good.  You can top it with anything you like.

These are some I swiped from others on this site.

Meat crust Pizza:

In a bowl mix 1 pound of extra lean ground beef, 10 crushed whole wheat crackers and 2 whipped eggs. Press evenly into a large enough baking sheet to make a thin crust. Bake at 350 until brown (about 10 - 15 minutes) remove from oven and top with zesty pasta sauce (I use Hunts zesty red pepper) and all of your favorite must have pizza ingredients and lots of cheese. Bake again for 15 minutes or until topping are perfect.

NOTE This is VERY filling. One pizza makes me 12 - 16 servings

I top two sides differently to make variety. Once the pizza is cold and cut up it freezes well with two layers of plastic wrap.

Tortilla Pizza

Place a tortilla on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Top it any way you like. Bake at 375 degree oven for 8-10 minutes till the tortilla is crisp and the toppings are bubbly.

One of my creations was topped with pesto sauce, ricotta cheese, sauteed spinach and garlic, sliced tomato, smoked mozzarella, and parmesan. The other with pesto sauce, provolone cheese, parmesan, sliced tomato, and Italian seasoning.

This would be a great way to use up leftovers... grilled chicken, steak, shrimp. The combinations are endless. I used pesto sauce but you could use alfredo sauce, tomato sauce, bbq sauce, hot sauce, salsa. I'm planning on making a Chicken Carbonara tortilla pizza next time I have some leftover grilled chicken. Mmmm with a little alfredo sauce, parmesan, crumbled bacon, and mushrooms. Yummy.

Hello....my wife and I make a great small pizza. I can't have alot of salt so my wife makes whole wheat dough in her bread machine. We spread it out and just throw everything on it.  Mild yellow ring peppers, left over grilled hamburger, chicken (or what left overs you have)  chopped green peppers, diced onion, low fat shreaded cheese, canned diced no salt tomatoes. You name it we throw it on....I'll have maybe to small slices and we'll have plenty for the next day.Dave

I can't do breads (I'm allergic to gluten) so here is my pizza recipe very high in protein but also fat.

Crustless pizza Softened 4 oz of cream cheese 4 eggs

1/3 cup heavy cream 1/4 cup grated parmesan (the dry, sprinkly stuff) 1 tsp chives (using fresh will make a difference!) 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning 1/2 tsp garlic (fresh minced or minced in a jar work best) 1 cup Pizza Sauce

3 cups grated cheese

Heat your oven to 375. Beat the cream cheese & eggs together. Add the cream, dry parmesan, garlic and seasoning. Spray a 9x13 with non-stick spray. Put 2 cups of your cheese in the bottom of the pan - spread it around evenly. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese, kind of poke at it until all the cheese is covered with egg. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove it and spread your pizza sauce on the top. Add whatever toppings you want. Here's what I usually add: Turkey pepperoni Hormel bacon bits

Browned turkey sausage Chopped onion

Green Pepper Top with remaining cheese, bake until cheese is bubbly/browned, and let it cool for about 5 minutes before you cut it.

Hello, Not sure if this is what you are looking for but South Beach Diet has some great pizzas that are very good. They have two that I like one is cheese and other is chicken and spainch and both on wheat crust. You should try them. I love them and I'm not good with wheat. Hope this helps.   Tina
