Anyone a patient in Cincinnati?

I am hoping to have my surgery done by Dr. David Fischer in Cincinnati.  Has anyone been to him before?  Has anyone had any experience with UC weight loss center?   I am new to this site but the support is great!  I live just north of Cincinnati if there's anyone out that lives close by!!! i am new at thi ,but my dr is dr curry and i have freinds that go to him and his office staff and dr curry is great......

I personally am not a patient of Dr. Fisher's however I do know  people who used UC WLP for their WLS, and love them... my daughter's girl scout leader had Dr. Fisher due Lap Gas. ByPass and she is doing extremely well, and strongly recommends the practice.  Hope this helps.

im in waiting on the whole insurance thing....and i need to gain 2or3 more pounds ,should not be hard since i had a great thanksgiving and lots of left overs .......plus i thought of it as my last bigggggg meal .

Hi.  I had my surgery at Deaconess Hospital by Dr Rodriquez.  He was great.  His staff took great care of me.  Unfortunately, I had many complications, which the staff handled quickly. I wanted Deaconess because they are a small hospital that puts customer satisfaction high on there list.  I would definately do the surgery again.  Since Sept 4 I have lost 54 pounds.  My suggestion about UC is to see if they have a support group of their own. WOW!!  This must be the Dr. Curry admiration society... I'm a member too... will be banded December 27th! A co-worker had gastric bypass with Dr. Curry... she swears by him!!! :)

I would also like to give my complete vote of confidence to Dr. Dirk Rodriguez at Deaconess in Cincinnati.  In my opinion, he's right up there with the best!  Dr. Rodriguez did my surgery on July 28, 2004.  He always puts his patients first.  Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Kathy
