DID ABY BODY HAVE

I am in the Bariatric Program at Mount Carmel West and Dr. Choban is my doctor.  She will be doing my Lap Band surgery on 12/26/07.  However, Dr. Choban did operate on me to remove my Gallbladder this past September.  I can tell you from my gallbladder surgery experience that Dr. Choban is an excellent surgeon. She also tells you like it is, has a wonderful bedside manner and she is so easy talk to.  I would definitely have her do surgery on me anytime. Before I saw her for the first time, my primary care physician had nothing but good things to say about her.  He told me that she was one of the first surgeons in the Midwest to begin doing Bariatric surgery.  He also said that she was very knowledgeable, which I found first hand.  When I went to my sleep doctor, he too could not express enough about how talented she is.  He also said that the both of them worked at Ohio State University at one time. I have heard good things about Dr. Price as well.  I was told though that he works more with cancer patients now but does do a minimal amount of Bariatric surgery.  I hope this helps you.
