New to Hilliard OH

I am looking for a Dr.'s office that is located outside of Columbus, OH near Dublin or Hilliard to handle my fills and check ups.  I recently relocated here from Illinois. thanks

Welcome to Columbus!  I know of an excellent surgeon, who is located at Mt. Carmel West.  She was one of the first surgeons to begin bariatric surgery in Michigan and Ohio.  She is well know and respected by her peers.  Her name is Dr. Patricia Choban. She is going to perform my Lap Band surgery on 12/26/07.  I can tell you that she is the kind of doctor who doesn't keep you waiting.  She has excellent bed side manners and tells you straight up what is going to happen OR how she feels about a situation.  She also genually cares about her patients. If you go on line and Google, Mt. Carmel Hospital Columbus Ohio, it will be the first link that comes up.  Click on the "Locations Link" right below Mt. Carmel Health System.  Then click on Mt. Carmel West on the left side of the screen.  This will bring up address information.  Scroll to the bottome of the screen and click on the link for "Detailed Campus Maps" under Campus Maps.  Then scroll to the bottom and select Medical Office 3.  This will bring up a detailed map of how to get there.  You will need to park in Parking Garage P3 to get to her office on the 2nd Floor. You may want to check with Mid Ohio Surgical Associates. They are located in Columbus at the Mount Carmel West campus. Tiffany, i would really like to stay close to home.  DOes your Hilliard Doc do fills?  That's really all I am looking for is a place to check in and periodically get filled or un-filled as needed.

She's only a Primary Care doctor, so I'm thinking she doesn't or won't do fills.  I read another members response to your post and you may want to call Dr. Patricia Choban's office at Mid Ohio Surgical Associates as they do fills in their office because they are a bariatric friendly office who does bariatric surgery. Mt. Carmel West is about 10 minutes from Hilliard. Hope this info helps.

I just moved from Hilliard just over 2 years ago. About 20 mintues from you is the Barix Clinic. They will do the fills and they're great there. So I'd take the trip and go to them. I know Riverside and OSU have been doing surgeries too. So you can always look into them as well. Welcome to Ohio

Hi,  You might want to check with Dr. Stephan Myers at Freshstart Bariatrics.  They are part of Riverside Hospital and have offices on Olentangy River Road.  He's a very caring and the entire staff if wonderful.  I'm not sure what all he will do but it would be worth checking into it.  I'm scheduled for RNY 11/27/07.  Good Luck!  ~ Patty
