I had a VBG 22 years ago and am getting ready to have a ROUEN Y bypass surgery.  Anyone had this done and what did they experience.  Do you have vomiting now?  Did they have to remove part of your stomach? Any input would be great. Debbie

Welcome Your stomach is still there it is not removed.   Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass Diagram I don't vomit any more now tham befor I hade RNY. You MIGHT dump and or vomit it you eat to fast, eat to to much, eat the wrong food sugar and or fat. BUT each person is different some people NEVER dump others dump if they eat very little sugar or fat.  I have and still do dump if I eat worng but I only have vomited if I'm sick with the flu or something.  Good Luck,  Robin
