Dr. Vig @ Barix is leaving!

I just called Barix today to schedule an annual checkup and found out that Dr. Viglianco is leaving Barix. His last day is Monday! There is a new doctor his name is Dr. Ramos. I will really miss Dr. Vig and his hugs!!!!!! Has anybody heard of the new doctor? Janet

Oh no....I was very comfy with him.  I will want to meet whoever they decide to give my surgery to before I have it. I think I'm going to call and see what my options are.

Did they give a reason? Thank goodness I drove the extra 1.5 hours for Dr C..   I wouldn't want to start over with a new Doc.

I just saw Dr. Vig on Wednesday for my 6 week check up.  He said that he and Barix couldn't agree on a new contract.  I asked him where he is going and he said he doesn't have another job lined up as of right now.  His last day is next week 9/28. I was very shocked and pissed!!! Now I did ask around the office there about which doctor (Dr. Custer and Dr. Ramos) and I was told that Dr. Ramos is great.  Everyone seemed to like him.  I hope so because I will see him in early November.

To be honest I am getting very upset with Barix Clinics and they way they have handled my case. I've been debating about weather to post my expirence with them so far.

That's what happened to my first surgan. Then Dr. Vig was the one that took over. I'm so gonna miss him. I'm glad that my daughter and I gave our cards at my last visit now. My daughter told him "Thanks for making my mommy better and so beautiful. SHe's much more fun now."  I gave him a card and told him how much he's helped me and that I'm so greatful. I'm truely gonna miss him. He's a great surgan and truely cares for his patients. I'll miss the hugs and his smile. I don't think there's ever gonna be another one that is like him

Dr. Vig was supposed to be my surgeon. I originally was scheduled for the band in June but due to some elevated labs I have to wait. I was just told this week that there is a new Dr. Dr. Ramos- I'm looking for some information on him. I did ask Barix how many bands he's done and they said 88 within the last 14 months. I've waited so long for the surgery!  If anyone has any info on Dr. Ramos, please let me know. Thanks! Angela

That is a bummer!  Dr. Vig is awesome.  I will miss his encouragement and hugs!  He is a great doctor and I am sure will be missed by the barix staff.
