francine. i just got approval on monday and for me it took 17months!!!!!!! so i hear ya...i don't have a date yet, but their booking for oct. but for me nov. would be better, so that is what i'm hoping. what about you?

Thanks robin congrats to you too! I haven't had to wait nearly as long.  The coordinator said that if I can get my apointments scedueled I could be on the losers bench by the end of september. But I am a full time student and am in classes all day 4 times a week. I don't know how many classes I want to miss.

i truely believe it will all work out. that is how i got through the 17 months of waiting...it was all for a reason. missing school is VERY hard and unfortunetly we all are going to have my some sacrifices, as i said november is better for me, but i'm still going to miss some family things and that sucks.  works isn't an issue because i have seven weeks saved up to use for me leave and it wil be nice to take this time off. so keep me posted on your progress, feel free to add me as a friend so we don't lose each other... see ya on the loser bench! robin

WHOO HOOO!!! I am so happy for you Francine! I agree, it will all work out the way it is supposed to! You have come so far and now that you have the approval, everything will move very quickly! I am 5 weeks out and 31# down! I go see Dr White next week and I will know then for sure how much I have lost, I got my scale late and I have no idea how close it is to his scale.  I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!! It took me almost 2 years to jump through the hoops and get an approval. Hang on tight for the ride of your life!!  Arms and legs inside the car at all times!
