been away since june 2006 new approved patient!!!!!

hey all! well i'm back!!!! well not really back.  i'm waiting to get final approval for lapband surgery since march 2006! isn't that crazy!??? well i finaly got it yesterday! and for even more changes i'm pretty confident that i'm going to have bypass instead...due to the high statisc's that i'll wake up an non diabetic!  so here i am 17 months later! so for anyone out there who is dealing with insurance, i'm a perfect case of doing EVERYTHING that they asked for and then got approved...now i know they could of said no (and i really thought that they would) but they didn't, and now i'm so scared...i'm actually all over the place with my emotions and i'm sure i will be for awhile.  i don't have a surgery date, but they are schedule oct. surgeries right now, for me nov would be better...i'd love to connect to you all.  in these 17 months i've focused all my learning on the lapband, so i really need to learn more on the bypass (which i'm sure you can tell i'm pretty much decided on..smile)  would love to hear from all. robin
