Looking for recipes
Since just having surgery on the 17th and being home only 3 days, I feel terrific! Can't wait to get away from the liquid diet though. Only so much jello and broth one can take. I'm wondering if anyone out there have some good recipes they would like to share? One that works for our little tummies. Looking for something on the low budget yet still yummy and healthy. Know what I mean. I don't have anything yet, but willing to do all I can to share and find something in particular you are looking for. See you all on the bench!

My parents live in Maumee. I usually visit them on the weekend. Maybe when you are up to it, we can go for a walk together and get to know one another. I'm walking, but waiting to do the long hauls once I get my drain tube out. This way I won't feel so self conscious to make sure the tubes aren't sticking out and the ball is still in place. Geeze...what we won't go through.
I'm not hungry either, but I am so sick of jello and soup. I just wanted ideas for when the soft foods come into play and then the maintenance part of it. This way, I'm not tempted to eat the stuff from my past. I'll have something good to eat. The recipes on the site look awesome! I can't wait to start cooking the healthy way!!!
Talk to you later.
Laura
Thanks Laura sounds great! I haven't done any long haul walks either. I am having some pain in my right side under my rib cage. Just started today. I'm sure it's nothing major! I get my tube out tomorrow so I will definitely mention it to my doc. I am hoping once I get this tube out I will feel better! Take care and talk to ya soon!
