Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had PS by Dr, Kurtis Martin? The patient reviews on his web site are great. Dr. C also gave me his name. I have my first meeting with him tomorrow and I am a little scared (OK alot scared) of having a tt. I know I need it as I have rashes, sores and yeast ingections. I have just heard too many horror stories about the recovery and pain. If someone has had a tt please give me the real scoop. Forever grateful for this site. Thanks, Judi

I'm going to tell you the same thing I told someone else on the board.  A lot of people from the butterfly network have used Dr. Martin as well as Dr. Butterfield  Here is the web site for the bitterflies I would ask your question there as well. http://www.wlsbutterflynetwork.org/message.htm There may even be some one close that you could talk to in person. I really want/need a TT but no rashes or such and insurance will not pay and right now no way I can come up with $10,000-15,000. to pay out of pocket.  Good Luck,  Robin

Hi!  I have not had my PS yet - but I am scheduled August 13th with Dr. Martin.  He made me feel so very comfortable during my consultation.  He comes highly recommended by Dr Curry.  Good luck with  your new adventure!!   Reb

Judi, I just had ps on 6/4/07.  Not with Dr. Martin.   I don't want to post all the details here but if you respond with a personal email address, I will tell you about my experience.  I am pleased with my ps even though I am still a little sore. Have a great day. No
