12 days out and doing great.

12 days post op and doing great had the Roux-en-y. far less pain then I expected I also had a record holding heilta hernia and because I was on full liquids for three weeks before the surgery my stomach had crawled up inside of it. Took an extra hour of surgery to get it back down where it belonged. Only problem I have had so far is with swolling pils. Solved that by crushing them and mixing them with applesauce they go down fine. Started on some soft food and have lost 26 pounds since the surgery. This is Gods gift for a new lease on life. Hope everybody can do as well as me.

Yikes about the hiatal hernia.  I'm glad you are doing well.  I'll have to remember that about the pills.

I'm so glad to hear you are doing well.  I have surgery coming up in August and I too have a hiatal hernia.  But I'm not sure how large mine is.  I haven't had an escoposy in 7 years.  Did you have to have one done during your PAT? Again congrats!
