Got my date too!!!!
Dawn, Have you gotten your post-op work-up done yet? If you did, did they put you on a liquid diet or anything? Where are you having yours done? I guess I will know all the answer to my many questions tomorrow. I'm probably going to have to have any open RNY, because of past surgeries. I'm going to propose to my doctor that if he can possible to a less invasive way than I want them to opt for that first. I think the the open RNY has me a bit freaked out! So fewer problems when you don't have to do an open. Have you trialed any protein drinks yet? I tried a sample of Adkins, yuck. The EAS was tolerable. I going to try a place called Vitalady that is suppose to let you sample things. I've heard good things about Nectar by Syntrax. Oh, the other thing that is bugging me is I've heard alot of things about hair loss. God, sure has a way of keeping me humble, thinning hair, adult acne, whiskers, etc. I know these are all minor things compared to regaining my health. I asked my DH if he would still love me if I were bald and saggy skinned. He didn't say anything for a while, and then "Hey, you just described me! So, do you still love me?!" Yes, I do after 37 years of marriage, but he sure has had to hold up more of my end of things lately. I can't wait to be healthier, more mobile, and happier, so that I can do more things with him and my family. Good luck to you. Catch you on the leaner side.
