First of all, how much protein are you getting in a day? If you dont know - you should! Start counting everything and adding in protein shakes until you are at 80gms a day.  Also add in Biotin supplements. Good luck!  Oh, and if you decide on a wig... A blond bombshell would be awesome! (just kidding) Take care,  Joan

I lost almost all my hair.  I took all the vitamins folks said and did all my protein as well.  I think some people's body just handles the surgery and subsequent starvation phase differently.  I ended up getting hair extensions put in my hair to help make it look fuller, but this was very expensive (2K) but well worth it.  I had mine in from early October through May.  At the time my hair was growing so slow that they last more than double the time they said that it would.  This gave my body enough time to grow out new hair.  I now use Nioxin shampoo and conditioner daily.  That is also rather pricey..but I bought the big bottles (32oz) and it cost me around $100 for both. Good luck, I know it's horrible to start feeling good about your body and then loose all your hair.

Where do you get the Nioxin Shampoo and Conditioner.

I bought mine at the local mall at a store called "Trade Secret".  They are a hair place that sells all the name brand hair care products.  I have also seen the smaller bottles at "Great Clips", but I am sure you can also order it online. Good luck!

I agree with what the others say .....protein, biotin and Nioxin for the shampoo and scalp conditioner.    My hair dresser told me Nioxin is recommended by oncologists to their cancer patients.  Peggy
