Any NE Ohio DSers?

If so, where did you go for surgery? And...... we should start a support group!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi! I live in Parma, Ohio. Not from here so not real familiar with the area towns. I had my surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and I really think a lot of my surgeon. I was not pleased with the after care from the nurses. That area needs some help. The experience so far has been awesome. Wish you the very best of luck!

Hi, I live in Parma as well. I am going through the northern bariatirc treatment center through Parma hospital. I have had my initial consult with surgeon and nut. and loved them both. Good luck in your journey...

are you all having the BPD/DS or RnY? I was not aware of anyone at the Cleveland clinic who performs this surgery. I also don’t know of any DS surgeons in Parma .

 

John, not sure there is a website I called the hospital and did everything through them, heard of the program from people at work. I am planning on having RNY

Hi Jenn, I think the only centers in Ohio doing the DS are in Dayton. If you are really interested in talking to someone who had the DS, send me a personal message and I can hook you up with someone I know who had it in Dayton, but lives NE ohio.

There are also surgeons in Toledo, Bowling green and Kettering Ohio who do the DS. No one in NE ohio tho. The Dayton docs seem the best to me, that's why I'm going with them. I'll PM you because yes, I'd like to talk to the NE ohio person who had the DS in Dayton.

Sorry, I'm late to the game!  I went to Bowling Green for my DS and live near the Indiana border.  I know we aren't very close geographically but I'd be glad to answer any questions you have.  I had a wonderful experience with Dr Lane and have heard good things about the Kettering group.  Good luck with your DS!!
