I'm so excited!!

 Well, I went for my initial consultation with Dr. yesterday...seems to think by December we will have the approval, dietician says they have never had anyone denied, and the fact that I have medical mutual makes it even better!! I was so afraid and now I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders just knowing that in about six months my new life begins!! I have to lose 10-15 pounds before surgey and go through the necassary testing plus meet with dietician five more times and go to one support group..All I can say is amen!!!! Beginning weight 361..all downhill from here!!!

THIS 6 MONTHS WILL AT TIMES FEEL LIKE IT'S GOING TO TAKE FOREVER BUT BEFORE YOU KNOW IT THEY WILL BE CALLING YOU TO SCHEDULE YOUR PRE-OP AND SURGERY DATES JUST TAKE IT A DAY AT A TIME KEEP GOOD RECORDS AS FAR AS DR VISITS AND YOUR WEIGHT HISTORY BUY A MAGIC BULLET YOU'LL USE IT AFTER SURGERY  TRY SOME PROTEIN DRINKS PICK UP INDIVIDUAL PACKS AT GNC,ETC  SEE IF YOU LIKE ANY BETTER THAN OTHERS AND REMEMBER WHAT YOU THINK TASTES GOOD NOW AFTER SURGERY IT MAY NOT- IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING BUT WILL SAVE YOU A SEAT ON THE LOSERS BENCH-CINDY

I'm rowing that boat right now.  I have 3 more appointments with the nutritionist and just did the sleep ap. test the other night.  It does seem to go on and on forever...I'm half way there. Good luck in your WLS journey!!! Blessings Tina

I have finished with everything..and I am waiting for my insurance to ok my surgery.... it's like sitting on a time bomb... I can't wait... I should be ok'd the first week of July... cross your fingers and toes LOL.. everyone has cleared me... and I am a nervous wreak!!I hope that everyone has a wonderful journey... Good Lucky 

thanks for the words of wisdom...it's so nice being able to share with people who understand how I feel..I have a very supportive family but no one seems to get it..you know?
