I'VE BEEN APPROVED!!!!

I was to be involved in a conference call with the Cigna appeals committee at 12:15 today. At 11:20, I received a call from a wonderful lady, Naomi, saying it was not necessary for the conference call and that I've been approved!! Next step::::: SURGERY DATE!!

Thanks Colleen, My first set of paperwork was sent at the end of June 06, denied - then after adding psyc test info, sleep apnea info (have had since 2004), vascular surgeon info (blood clots run in the family), and my primary physician diet write up was denied again in Oct. 06.  Seems Cigna didn't like my primary doctors way of my diet write up. So I began my 6 month medically supervised diet with Dr. Salamone at St. Vincents. With that and the write up from the dietician it went to the appeals committee. And then they approved it. I know some people have been approved right away and then some even wait over a year. I guess I was one of the lucky ones and only waited a year. I'm so excited. Thanks for all your congrats!!!!
