Teleconference w/Cigna
After being denied back in Sept. '06 because I didn't have a 6 month medically supervised diet in my paperwork I began a 6 month diet w/ the dietician at St. Vincent Charity. All the paperwork went back to Cigna after completing my 6 months. Now I get a overnight express delivery letter telling me there's a meeting with the appeal group and would I like to be teleconferenced in on it. Of course, I agreed but my question is....has anyone ever done this with their insurance company before? Is it good or bad that I'm "attending" this meeting? I've done everything my insurance company has asked since beginning this journey in May of 2006. Hopefully, this will be the answer to my prayers!!!! Wish me luck!!

Where I'm at in my WLS process:
I'm a partial self-pay; waiting on Clinic to determine my OOP exp. Broke elbow on 5/5/07 and have used up all my sick/vacation time. Will also use all 12 weeks of FMLA, so will likely have to wait until 4/08 to schedule surgery.
