cleveland clinic anybody have gastric sleeve?

    hi has anybody had just the gastric sleeve done at cleveland clinic? did medicare/medicaid pay all of it? how much pain did you have? how much weight have you lost? how long were you in the hospital? please email me @ [email protected] thanks

I never heard them mention the gastric sleeve at the cleveland clinic when they went over what procedures they offer.

well i heard them tell one guy about it he was real heavy i think 600 or more and they said they would have to go with that for now. since he was so heavy and maybe later on do the rny. and recently another woman i meet a year ago at the seminar told me thats what the surgeon said he could do for her. he wouldnt do a lapband. only the gastric sleeve for now.

Hi I have been through all my testing for cleveland clinic and I see the surgeon Dr. Chand on the 27 of June.  I was told the gastric sleeve would be offered to me because of my weight .  Then after I had lost some weight the Rny.  But from what I have read I will just stick with the sleeve I think. 

hi how much do you weigh? i am 5 7 and weight 435. my bmi i think is 63. my friend is having a gastric sleeve next month with philip schauer. and i want to see how she does. i wont be cleared for a few months thanks to the mix up with my appointment.

yeah,ive been there on the gastric sleeve forum. did you see big medicine tonite? they refused this one woman who weight 422. the insurance wouldnt let them do it. i think cause she wouldnt follow the presurgery diet to lose weight. i was thinking, what she's going thru that sounds so much like me! it was like she's my twin. i wonder why they didnt think about fighting the decision. they should of said that on the show. so other people would fight to change their insurance companies minds. my email is [email protected]

did you just lose 100 pounds? did you have any weight gain? are you still losing?

Well, I have lost 97 lbs. I will be 7 months out next week and am still losing. My goal is to still lose another 32 lbs. kim
