ANYONE ON CARESOURCE

Hi there all!  I am trying to find a surgeon for Lap Band that takes my insurance (Caresource), but that doesn't charge the  $2Grand   for basically their form of a gym membership that the 2 doctors in Akron do.  I just found out that the place I was working for is letting me go, so now would be the perfect time to try this again.  I was trying for the RNY, but after checking up on the lap band, I think this is the way to go...love anything that gets you up and moving without as much down time.  So, anyone have any suggestions, ideas on where to go?    Thanks!  Jen

Hi, I had my surgery done at St Vincents in Cleveland, I'm not sure if they take your insurance but I do know that they only charge $250.00 for their fee that can not be billed to insurance.  The $2000 up front to Akron was one of the reasons I did not go to them.    Debbie

Hi Jen. Cleveland Clinic takes Caresource. Dr Schauer and Dr Chand are really great dr's. I see Dr Schauer and am scheduled June 20th for Rny. Good luck.
