I need to find someone I can relate to. It is really hard being in a new area and meeting folks that have been where you have been. I like to keep myself surrounded with those folks because they remind me of why I made the choice to have Gastric Bypass. So if you are feeling the same way and looking to make new friends let me know!!
hi there,
Sorry to hear yu haven such a rough time. I am in monroe which is like 25mins south of the Dayton Mall exit. I had my surgery up there at Sycamore Hospital. There is a support group there in my doctors building infront of the hospital on the second Weds. of the month at 7p. I have lived here pretty much my whole life and I only have a couple of friends same with my husband , so feel free to message me and maybe we all can get to gether and meet some time. May be kinda crazy the next few weeks my daughters swim tea is fixen to start but I know the feeling of being alone so I am here.

This is a new group in Cincinnati that is doing a lot of social activities you might want to join that site and see if you are able to do anything with them.
