sounds like you're doin great! i'm scheduled for july 24. mostly excited. wondering what i'll need to take with me to the hospital. thanks  kate

Hey I'm in Beloit, Ohio which is about 33 miles west of Mineral ridge. I had my surgery on May 31, 2006 WOW I just realized tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary, if you have any questions let me know.   Jim

Hi, I'm in east liverpool.  are you with St Joe & St E Surgical Weight Loss Center?  I'm having lap band June 5!  Soooooo excited and sooooo nervous!!  Do you still have tests to complete and groups to attend?  Maybe we'll see each other at one of the meetings.  Good luck with everything. Crystal

hi crystal! good luck , it's right around the corner!!  yep, st. joe's and st. e's. i still have a few appointments and a support group to go to. test are all done, been approved, surgery scheduled. ta da... i hope we do see each other, i look for you. you do well on tuesday, i'll be thinking of you. let me know how you're doing.    kate

HI! GOOD LUCK WITH INSURANCE! I CHOSE LAP RNY HOPEFULLY TO AVOID ANY HERNIATION  DUE TO CUTTING THE MUSCLES. AND IT'S A SHORTER RECOVERY. I'VE HAD MY FILL OF OPEN SURGERIES!! LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES FOR YOU.   KATE
