Hi I'm very new to all this....

Hi everyone, I just signed up for OH yesterday. I went to a seminar at Parma Hospital and a woman who had had surgery a year ago told me about this site. I must say it's so exciting to see everyones before and after pictures but I feel like it's an impossible dream for me. I guess it's just my frame of mind because of the ****ty week I'm having I have an appointment for my initial consultation June 15. I look forward to getting to know many of you as I joyfully look forward to gaining this imporant tool in my weight loss journey.

Doreen - Welcome- this site has been like a really good friend to me- there's words of encouragement, mucho information recipes and support!!! Check the site frequently it really helped me pass the time pre-op and helped prepare me for a successful post-op course. I have surgery this coming Tuesday so It's finally my time- your's will be sooner than you think-cindy

Welcome! I have not been here to long. I am in the middle of the six month supervised diet some insurances require before approval.  It is an exciting time in life for sure. Blessings Tina

Thank you for the warm welcomes...I'm planning or hoping to have the RNY...have to much to lose for the lap band. I didn't know Parma Hospital offered it either until a little over a year ago, people at my job have had it done there with wonderful results.

welcome a-board i live out by fremont and toledo-and hang out on the over fifty forum ( i am 53) so i don't get on here too often anymore. lots of experience and wonderful ppl on OH!!!!!
