Try FreshStart Bariatrics in Columbus. I had RNY so I don't know how much Lap Band is but I know Dr. Myers does LapBand.

Hello there and good luck on your search for WLS. Deaconess Surgical Weight Loss Center in Cincinnati offers the Lap Band for $16, 500. The is completely inclusive of all services, patient education program ( a 4 hour intensive "all you want to know about WLS surgery), nutrition education plus an individualized bariatric dietitian tailored program, insurance & payment information and exercise counseling. This also includes your pre-surgery evaluation, after surgery band fills, dietitian visits and doctor/nurse practitioner visits for one year. Be careful about making your decision based on dollars alone. Just because you find the cheapest does not mean, that it is the best program for you. There are a lot of "drive-thru" weight loss center cropping up through out the USA. Many of these programs offer only 1 surgery and very few have the complete program you need to help you succeed with WLS.  Many centers offer all the band fills you may want for one year, but no other services. In these centers you may never see the surgeon again after your surgery. The other thing to watch out for is what happens if there is a problem after surgery? Many folks do not think or ask about this. Some centers may not be able to help you if you need a second surgery, they may expect you to go to a different facility, hospital or surgeon. Make sure you get all the information you need to make the right choice, make sure the surgeon and facility you choose has all the components to help you be successful and to help you if there are any problems after your surgery. Please visit www.newyourealyou.com or call 513-559-2545 to obtain more information about WLS and your alternatives. Good luck to you and good health!
