Has anyone had doctor Vincent Vanek. Or had surgery at St. Joesph hospital.any comments will help thank you. mel

Youngstown Here. However, I am going to Cleveland. I have my date set for June 20th. I have had friends that had surgery from him. They were really satisfied. When is your date? Maybe we can compare notes. Good luck Lois

why did you decide too go to cleveland? I have one more appt. and then we will send it to insurance. I'm sure it will take several more weeks to get approvel.I think maybe it will be sooner. goodluck with your surgery..... I'm undecided on either open gastric or lap gastric my insurance dont cover lapband

Hi, I am from Canfield, and I had my surgery on March 27th 2007. I had Dr. Woodruff. St. Joseph's was amazing, The care was first rate and they treated me like a queen. I have lost 51 lbs today, and feeling better every single day. I have heard wonderful things about Dr. Vanek, but Dr. Woodruff was my choice.  I always feel like I can talk to him and he has such a gentle nature.
