I may sound mean here, but I talk to those who talk to me! I am newer to the site and i jump in where I can but this site is like anything in life you get out what you put in. I have put effort in with a certian few people who I have clicked with, however there are others that I read post and move on. You need to find those who you click with. This board is meant to be supportive, however I look at it like this. If I wnet into a grocery store and was crying there maybe a few who ask if I am okay, however I do not expect the whole store to be my number one comforters. Or at work are you the same with everyone at work or do you have those you are closer to because you click? That may seem harsh, but I was a little frustrated by your message because there are so many people on this board who are doing wonderful things and reaching out to so many that we need to praise them. Like I said just the opinion of one.... Colleen

Sunday, I PM'd you but I have not received a reply from you. I am sorry that you feel so left out. I for one was under the weather last week dealing with a few things that came up from surgery. I did keep you in my thoughts and prayers every day but I just did not have the strength to sit at the computer. When I had my surgery, no one emailed me to see how I was, but they did tell me to make sure I check in when I felt up to it so they all knew how I was, so I made sure that I did check in and let everyone know that I was home from surgery and that when I felt up to it I would post more. I never expected anyone to remember that I was in the hospital, but it is nice to have this board to come to for the support and encouragement. I hope you do not leave the board, it is a great place, most times I just read, but every so often I have a question and most times I get an answer with just a post or two. Take care, and I really hope you are doing ok, let me know. Debbie

When I had my surgery a few years ago, I went through the blues. I didn't even try and get to my computer for a couple of weeks. I don't think that it is that no one cares, I think it is a matter of time and life. While I had the utmost support from my family and some OH members, it seemed if though my days lasted 48 hours instead of the normal 24. Eventually I got better and when I could post, people were very warm and gracious. It might help to get your profile updated. When I see that someone has not filled out a profile, I may wrongly assume that those members do not want to be bothered. I am sure that everyone wishes you well and hope and pray for your quick recovery. As with most people who have gone through this journey, I don't pop on OH as much as I used to because I am out and about and living the life that I once only dreamed of. Don't take silence as lack of caring. Pop on here and tell people when you are having a rotten day! They will listen and respond when they know there is a need. I'm not trying to start a ******g match here, but when you respond so negatively to someone, it sends a message out to everyone to beware and I am sure that you don't mean it that way. I hope that you are feeling better and are able to enjoy your new life soon!
