I feel very let down

Hi everyone Back from surgery..I wont go into details as no one sent email or questioned how things went for me. Even though I cant sit here everyday, I still needed the support from you, the same support that I see you give people over time and again. I chatted with another lady here also from Ohio, who also said she feels left out,,when she needed help also. I think that this group needs to open their arms a little more and keep them open a little longer than the first hello thats put out there. Of the 2 ladies who wished me well before my surgery I thank you. But please dont take my words as being nasty,,,just treat all members the same,,,,no one should fel the way we do Sunday

hello, sunday! i have been on this board for almost 4 years and i can very much relate to your feelings. i am sorry that this has happened to you, tho. hopefully you will feel like sitting and posting more as you heal from surgery- and maybe you will post on your profile to keep self updated? one reason that i personally don't post here much is that some of the docs frequent the site and i don't really care for that.that comment may get me flamed-not from the docs but from their supporters! do you have a face to face support group? those are a wonderful thing if you click with the people. search one out! i spend most of my obesity help time on the over fifty forum- i check in here occassionally but i don't spend a great deal of time here myself-so i am probly one of those guilty for saying welcome and then not posting to you after that. i apologize.

Hi...Thanks. No I dont have a face to face group, my first meeting for thah is in 2 weeks. Over 50 forum..that sounds more my style. I will check into that ...and thanks so much..Sunday

dave-quit sniffling and come on over to the over fifty forum---there are mostly 60+'s there--a great group!!!!! i am one of the babies at 53..... there are very few men who admit to being on the board however, so put on your big boy pants and wade in!!!!!!one of our guys is probly coming home from surgery yesterday or today and one is almost non existent-well most are-and one posts when he can from work--- we would love to have you join us!

Hi Sunday I'm sorry you feel let down. As I am not on very often, I have not seen you. I used to be on a lot, but as I was able to do more, I do more. Now i work 3 jobs and have 2 businesses so I'm not on very much, but get on when I can. I hope you are doing well and if you have a question, just ask. Sharyn
