Larry, I think my friend Sherry had hers covered by Medicaid or Medicare (she has multiple back problems and many surgeries including gastric bypass on 3/17/06). I will ask her and let you know. ~Rachelle
She had Medicare card (for older people) and Medicaid. She was told that it got pushed through the process so quickly because she had the Medicare card.
