Fresh Start people?

Anybody here from "Fresh Start" go to McConnell Heart center for you physical work out?...I've been a couple of times. Once in water and once on land. I haven't been able to go lately because I have had a cold the last three weeks and when I get one....Katie bar the door. It really knocks the hoo hoo out of me. Also my wife had her knee replaced alittle over a week ago and I've been taking care of her. I was just wondering.... Dave

My husband is in the program but probably won't have surgery until August. If you are still going then let me know. I think I will sign up to go with him. I am 1 year post op as of 4/17... but don't exercise nearly enough. I am so excited that he is taking this step... I think what put him over was seeing what his meds cost... 1000.00 for 3 months! I would like to retire somtime and not work to pay for his medicine!! Keep in touch, it's good to know of another couple on the journey. Pam

I am in the Fresh Start Program. I am scheduled to have my surgery May 14th. I am a former McConnell member. I gave up my membership and moved to Premiere however, there is no place comparable to McConnell. Loved it there. Looking forward to being back there for a short time. Good luck to you and your wife. McConnell is a great place to be. I am 7 weeks post-op and really enjoying my workouts there. They have classes for everyone if you aren't into developing your own workout. I am a big fan of the water classes. Hydrotone is a wonderful cardio workout and the Liquid Balance is fabulous for, well, balance. If you ever met with Monica for one of your appointments, she is great. Take advantage of McConnell while you have it. It is a great facility. Lisa
