Got my date!

Hello all, I got my date for lap-band surgery today. It's May 17th and I can barely wait. The doctor said this can cure my diabetes! Woo Hoo, I'm one happy gal. I look forward to your support as I know I'll need it. ~Nancy

Good luck!!! I know how excited i was when I got the news. I fought the ins. for 2 yrs. and had gave up and *poof* they called me! Within 2 wks. I had all the tests and surgery. I'm a diabetic too and my dr. took me off my Metformin while I was in the hospital. It's been 6 weeks. and my sugar is great!! Between 86 and 122 each day. Keep us posted!! Pam

I'm feeling great. Granted I still get tired easy but it's better. I'm eating a few things at a time. A couple things have made me dump and then the next time I';m fine with it. Have lost 25 lbs. so far. And some inches too. Alot of shirts are very loose and pants too. SO I know it's workin'! Best decision I have made for a long time. You won't regret this at all!!! Hi, Nancy! Look's like we are "bandster twins". I also have my surgery with Dr. Fegelman on May 17th. After speaking with him, I was surprised to hear that on the first fill he puts in 2cc's. That seems like a good first fill. Good luck and best wishes. Mindy
