I had my surgery and I am home. I feel sore. How long does your tummy feel sore? When do you start feeling like yourself again. I truly didn't know it was going to hurt this bad I am still bloated and my pants won't button. I know I am whining. Anyone have some good info, to make me know this will end soon.

Hi Dayna, My incisions were sore when I moved around and stood up too straight for a few days. By day 4 or 5 I felt pretty good. The bloating and gas was terrible. Walking helps to "blow it out"!!! Just keep drinking your water....even if you don't feel like it. Good luck

Hi Dayna, Glad to hear your surgery went well and you are home. On the Over 50 Forum they keep telling everyone to walk, walk, walk and sip, sip, sip (their water). It'll take a couple of days for the gas to dissipate. I'm sure it won't last too long. Good luck and keep us posted. Peggy

I had the lap rny. I am feeling better now, went to the drs's yesterday. I had to do a 1 week follow up as he was going to be out of town. Down 14 lbs. It gave me quite a bit of encouragement, although I haven't felt it in my clothes yet.
