I live in Greensboro NC and my pcp is sending me to a WLS seminar is this a normal routine or is it because i have medicaid??? what will happen after i attend? I have something call a twelve step packet that i was given from my pcp to take with me to the seminar....i'm totally clueless!!!

Hi Atiya, Im in OH and the Dr. office that I went actually REQUIRES you to attend an informative WLS seminar. I attended one back in 2001 and when I finally made the decision to go forward with the surgery in 2006 I had to attend one again b/c of the time lapse and all the changes and new information/data that has been obtained.
