Long time no see....

Good afternoon everyone. A lot has happened in my life. Including a total reversal of my gastric bypass surgery, and 15 abdominal surgeries since. Most were bowel obstructions. Sandy, It is good to hear from you, I have wondered how you have been...I'm from Van Wert, and I got to know your story through Jana...Your story is the reason I opted for lapband over RNY---I pray your health improves, and the bowel obstructions become a thing of the past...Theresa R

Theresa, I am so glad you went with the lapband. Doctors just don't know what our lives are going to be like 10-20 years after a RNY. Thanks for the kind words. Sandy

HI Sandy! I also have wondered how you are doing. I was a memeber of your board for a long time and all of a sudden I was unable to log in I found out months later the board had been taken down. I am 2 years and almost 2 months out...I have lost 101# from my highest weight. still sitting here at 167... but that is OK! I never went into this looking to be a size 0 . I have my health back, I can MOVE again. I have been really lucky with no complications. I will check out the board! Hope everything goes well for you HUGS Deb from Indian lake
