OT: Portage County Earthquake

Hey Everybody, Did you feel the earthquake yesterday? I was doing laundry and it felt like something slammed into my home. Everyone in the neighborhood was standing in their front yards looking all around to figure out what happened. My Ex-husband is in law enforcement and so my son called him to see what it was. We found out immediately that it was in fact an earthquake. The reason we felt it so hard is because my home is practically over the center, Amazing!!

For heaven sake. Im glad you posted. Are you all OK? No damage Im assuming. Unreal. I live up here right on the lake and we have been getting them quite frequently. a little unsettling but what are you going to do. Glad all is OK your way Kym

Debbie, Yes, we were eating dinner, and I felt my feet rumble. We thought it was either an earthquake or an explosiong of some sort. Never felt that before...now that there was no damage I thought it was great! We live pretty close to one another, less than 20 minutes away. I actually thought the same thing. That someone hit my house. I was on the phone with my sister and she was like well go and check it out. Of course I didn't see anything! Didn't find out till The morning that it was an earthquake. Yes since there was no damage looking back it was kinda exciting but not something I want to happen again anytime soon!! Hugs, Kim
