Congratulations on your upcoming surgery!! I had lapband done 2-13-06 at Barix in Columbus--They are top notch. It is scary to go through with surgery, but SO worth it!! You will look back on your day and be so glad you made the leap>>>The nurses are SO nice at Barix, and I especially liked the surgical nurse...It was hard to kiss my family goodbye before surgery, we were all tearful and nervous, but she was great!!So encouraging!! So far I have lost over 100 lbs., and I am constantly amazing myself and my family with the accomplishments I have made--You will too!!
That's awesome Judy! The surgery went well, and so far so good. I have lost 24 lbs since I started on liquids (2 weeks pre-op). So, I don't feel so bad about 24 lbs in 24 days. I am worried that when I start on soft foods that I will not be doing as well! Anyway, great to hear from you!
Thanks,
Karrie
Just to set the record straight, band patients are called "bandsters" not "banders"!
