Lap Band on 3/23

I'd really like to hear from anyone that has had lap band surgery in the last 6 months or so if Dr. Curry is your surgeon....I'm scheduled for 3/23 which means I've got less than a week before I start the Medifast Diet.....I'd like to hear about everyone's experiences & any advise you can think of. Tell me about the experience from Medifast forward!!!! How it went, how you're doing & any dieting tips for pre op or post.....Thanks - I can't wait to hear from you. XXXOOO

Hello, I have heard only good about Dr. Curry. I am a self-pay and couldn't afford him right now. I really wish I could! I look forward to the response you get as I'm hoping to have the procedure in April.

Hi there! I had my banded placed by Dr Curry on 12/15/06 I had the 2 weeks of Medifast. I hated it. I lived off of SF Jello, SF PUdding and SF popscicles. I threw up when I tried to eat the Medifast. I did lose 22.5 lbs in those 2 weeks though. Some people have no problem with the Medifast.. so don't freak out. Some people even liked it. (weirdos) lol j/k Drink tons of water.. it fills you up. Drop the pop if you are drinking it. cold turkey. I am doing great. I am almost 3 months out and I am down 43lbs. I am eating normal..
