Hi, Just wondering how I know when Dr. Ben-Meir's office sends the info. to insurance. I emailed LaTonya yesterday and asked her if they were waiting for the UGI results before sending the info. and her response was "once we receive all the info that your insurance requests", well I emailed back stating that my insurance did not require the UGI, that the Dr. requested it, does this mean that once she receives the Nut. report they could send it in and she replied, YES. So actually I have two questions and I really do not want to bother LaTonya again. 1. How do we know when the info is sent to insurance? 2. How long does it take for the Nut. to do her report? I'm not sure what you have a NUT report for, but when I had my UGI done the results were sent to my PCP and then I picked them up along with the paperwork for the six month diet and faxed everything to Latonya. I followed up by emailing her to make sure she received the fax. She emailed back and said that everything should be sent out by the end of the week. I emailed the following week just to check up and she told me that everything had been sent out on the first to the insurance. However, I have found out that my paperwork has now been sent to a third place (medical managers) for approval. Good luck.
