I'm on my way!

My surgery is scheduled for March 20 at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. I am so excited and ready to begin my new journey. Any tips would be appreciated.

Congrats on the date! Which surgery are you having?

I am having lapband surgery. I am a little nervous. I'm hearing that it is very painful.

Excellent.. Not really. Not that bad. I was taking my dog to training 2 days after surgery. But pain all depends on the person that is having it. I tolerate it pretty well. Some other people, not so much! Just make sure you drink alot of water and walk alot after surgery and it helps. Are you having a pre op diet at all? Amanda

I am waiting to hear from the Weight Loss Center. They are supposed to fill me in. I am assuming that I will be on some type of diet. I did Optifast through Jewish Hospital a couple of years ago. They may put me back on Optifast.
