Fresh Start Bariatrics at Riverside

Has anyone here had there surgery at Riverside by Dr. Myers? I am in the process and so far have been impressed with the pre-op dedication from his staff. I am in my third month of diet journals and nutrition visits and should have a date within the next month. Thanks Cindy

Hi Cindy. I was actually banded on 2/14/07 by Dr. Myers. I am his second patient to be banded. He is a wonderful surgeon. Very caring and sincere. If there is anything you need to know please ask. GOOD LUCK! Kathy

Cindy- PMG everyone was so nice. I didnt have one problem. I was pretty sick after anesthesia, even though they gave me zofran before i woke up. Im feeling better everyday. I will be seeing Dr Myers tomorrow for my 1st post op visit. I'll let youknow what he says. Where are you at in the program now? Kathy

I forgot to ask you-are you planning on going to Riverside or Cincy Weight Loss? I know the 1st person banded there (Cincy). He is a great guy, went to college together. Kathy

I do not know anyone who went through the program, I had my surgery last April before it began or I would have used it. I had an unrelated surgery at Riverside last fall and the OR staff spoke highly of the program and the surgeon... I think that is a very good sign if the people who work around him are confident in his abilities.. I have been in the medical field for 26 years, believe me we see alot behind the scenes...
