How you ready for the SNOW?

eh, drove to work and back this morning (I work from home, just have to pick it up to do) took an extra hour. My DH didn't have to work, so I made an appt with the dentist (every other patient was cancelling, but I had childcare and it had been 4 years.....) when I left the dentist at 11:30 the freezing rain was starting, and here it is 9:30 and it is still coming down. My basset hounds can now walk on top of the snow drifts without falling in.... Then we are supposed to get snow on top of this. All in all, it reminds me of home (Nebraska) I'm so excited!!!!!

I will just call my new friend Gayle and she will shovel my driveway and walks right Gayle???????

For sure Mike !! I'll be right over once I can get out of my development here. How's yours?? It's Wed night and I still don't think anyone can get out. Rick is stuck in Indianapolis and hopes to be home in the morning. I have the driveway done and really hope the plows come thru sometime tonight. Gayle

We actually got lucky tonight!!! The city has a huge scraper and sent it through our neighborhood and plowed the streets. Hopefully Rick can make it home- I know there have been tons of travel delays in this blizzard.

I've managed to take a couple of days of personal leave from work so I don't have to even attempt to go out. Got everything I need, fruit, coffee, juice and kitty food. I plan on doing some major scrapbooking for the next couple of days and watch it snow and sleet. The older I get the more the thought of driving in this stuff scares me.

Sounds like fun Cathy ! I spent my time cleaning. I like your idea better. Today I had an appt with my dentist and called them this morning telling them that I can't get out of the drive way. He sent one of his staff over to get me in a big 4x4. That's service I tell ya. It was sure nice to get out a little.
