Hello! Has anyone been banded at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati? I would love to hear about your experience. I meet with the surgeon on Feb. 6. I am really excited and ready to begin the next phase of my journey. Jane

I was banded at Jewish on Nov. 27th. Dr. Fegelman is great (well, not exactly Mr. Personality) but a great doctor. I've had no problems so far and have lost 34lbs. Good luck - they'll take good care of you

Wow! It's nice to hear from someone who went to Jewish. Did Dr. F put you on a liquid diet pre-op? What were you allowed to have? I did the Optifast at Jewish once before. I have been wondering if that is what they put you on. 34# sounds great to me! I can't wait!

Dr Curry performed my surgery but a guy friend that I work with was banded by Dr F at the Jewish a few months ago and he is doing great. He has lost over 70 pounds and was back to work after only a few days. I spoke with him today when we were doing our daily workout walk and he said that he hasn't felt this good in years! If Dr Curry says someone is good, I would take that as gospel. Good luck! Cathy

I was banded by Dr. Curry on December 9th, 2005 and I have lost nearly 90lbs. He is a great man who (even though I paid out of pocket) saved my life! I wouldn't change a thing. I need to start attending meetings again. I am soooo thankful for him and his staff. Good Luck and no matter what... TAKE YOUR VITAMINS.
